Inhabitants of Childhood

Program Note

Please join us on Sunday, July 1st. at 12 PM for a special premier site-specific performance to inaugurate INHABITANTS OF CHILDHOOD by the celebrated Georgian-American visual artist and designer Uta Bekaia. 

Performers

A collaboration between Bekaia and composer Mátti Kovler’s musical theatric collective Floating Tower, the performance will feature the Persian/American singer Parham Haghighi, soprano Ariadne Greif, mezzo-soprano Sophie Delphis, mezzo-soprano Lucy Dhegrae, Georgian traditional dancer Lea Elisha, actor Chris Okawa and others. Revisit the mysteries of childhood as TurnPark is transformed into a canvas weaving music and dance with wearable sculptures, sewing, and embroidered craft.
